Kindergarten is a year in which children work on developing positive social skills and work habits. Academic focus is in the areas of early literacy, mathematics, science, and social studies. Children investigate the world around them through a variety of fun and exciting hands-on activities. Many of our activities revolve around the following themes:

A visit from Johnny Appleseed, Native American Day, a visit from a leprechaun, working at a Valentine Post Office, nature walks, Holiday Houses, 100^th Day of School Celebration, Groundhog Day Parade, Witch’s Brew, Dr. Suess’ Birthday, hatching chicks, and Color Days!
