Helpful Hints for Students

Grade 6 to 7

1.      Start planning projects the day you get them.

2.      Always bring a pencil to math.

3.      Always bring a pen to language arts.

4.      Learn and remember all of your teachers’ expectations.

5.      Think about projects, tests, exams, and Williamsburg so you can plan ahead of time.

6.      Don’t wait two days before a project is due. The teachers expect high quality work from a seventh grader.

7.      Get to know your teachers and the methods they use.

8.      Always take notes even if you’re not asked to. Teachers expect you to take them without being asked.

9.      Ask questions because that leads to better learning.
